The Matexi Group has been present in Poland since November 2010. Our Polish branch is a dynamic team of experts with many years’ worth of experience in the local market.

2012
Start of our first development project. We launch the first construction site, “Górce 142” in Warsaw’s Bemowo district.

2014
Launch of the “Kolska od nowa:)” project. The first multi-stage residential project in our portfolio. “Kolska od nowa :)” is almost 600 apartments and a successful revitalization of a post-industrial quarter of the city.

2014-2018
Intensive development of our project portfolio in Warsaw. New projects launched in the successive districts of the city, including Bielany, Ursynów, Marymont and Wola.

2016
We conclude an institutional private rented sector (PRS) transaction - a pioneering transaction in the Polish market. The entire “Apartamenty Pereca” project is sold to an investment fund specializing in long-term apartment rental. The amount of the transaction is almost PLN 100 million.

2018
Completion of the entire “Kolska od nowa:)” residence. The project proved to be a great success, and the Kolska Street area, after the revitalization, revealed a completely new look.

Apartment number 1,000 is commissioned for use. Our pace does not slow down.

2018
Launch of the first project on the Praga side of Warsaw. The multi-stage “Omulewska 26” project is almost 500 apartments.

2019
We enter a new market. The first development project in Kraków is launched, with the view to our plan of long-term consistent presence, just as in Warsaw so far.

2020
Another success in the PRS sector. We closed one of the largest transactions in the Polish PRS sector, selling the Puławska 186 building, with almost two hundred fitted-out apartments, to an investment fund specializing in long-term rental.

2020
We have obtained the occupancy permit for Limanowskiego 5, our first investment in Kraków, where we are already building two more projects.

2022
We are putting flat number 2000 into the hands of residents.

2024
We have 13 projects in various stages of construction, four of which are in Kraków. In the first half of the year, we are commissioning flat number 3000. We are successfully pursuing our mission to build places to live, not just to live in. One of the important projects carried out under the ‘Welcome to the neighbourhood’ philosophy is the mural entitled ‘Urban Jungle’ by the well-known Warsaw watercolourist Tytus Brzozowski, which decorated the facade of the NA OKRZEI tenement building.

Celebrating 15 years of Matexi in Poland. The entire group is celebrating its 80th anniversary.
