Socially-committed developer
Both in Belgium and Poland, the Matexi Group attaches a lot of importance to its social activities and responsibility. In this respect, our actions are compatible with Matexi’s motto - “Welcome to the neighbourhood”.
Under its corporate social responsibility program, Matexi Polska has launched its proprietary project “Developer of Opportunities - Building Children’s Future”. Concurrently, the company has supported successive projects for local communities living in the area of its development projects.
#CareForOurPlanet
People, Planet, Profit
The project combines direct developer operation of the company and its clients with support for public benefit organizations providing assistance to children.
Under the program, which has already operated some years, every client buying an apartment in Matexi can choose one from three objectives given in a questionnaire, to indicate to the developer which objective they wish to be supported with a specified donation amount.
The donations are granted to individual public benefit organizations once a year, as a sum total of all amounts designated by clients to a given organization in a given program period. In 2023, Matexi Poland donated a total of PLN 20,550 to the accounts of social benefit organisations.
The beneficiaries were:
Janusz Korczak Orphanage no. 2 in Warsaw, for the objective of the organization of winter holiday trips for the children
Ewa Błaszczyk “Akogo” Foundation, running the Budzik (Alarm Clock) hospital, providing comprehensive care to coma patients.
The Friends of Litewska Children’s Hospital Foundation, collecting funds to purchase an incubator for its neonatal ward.
The “Serduszko dla Dzieci” (Little Heart for Children) Association in Warsaw’s Praga district
The “Nasze Dzieci” Foundation
The “Bielańska Akademia Umiejętności” (Bielany Academy of Skills) - a new culture concept for the Bielany district.
Welcome to the neighbourhood
Social initiatives for
local communities.
Under the strand of its social activities, Matexi Polska regularly supports valuable sports and cultural initiatives, such as picnics or school sports competitions, organized both by local authorities as well as smaller local community organizations, often in the vicinity of the company’s development projects.
The company has been co-organising regular Christmas art workshops for the children of the Janusz Korczak Children's Home No. 2 since 2015. The developer willingly engages in partnerships in neighbourhood events organised by neighbourhood authorities for the benefit of their residents. Supported events include: The Chomiczówka Run and the Bielany Cup Run, as well as the Welcome Summer Picnic in Bielany. In 2024, Matexi also became a patron of the Krakow Clone action, organised by the Tytano Foundation. As part of the campaign, trees are planted in locations indicated by Krakow residents.
